Why is Fansly asking me to verify even though I'm just browsing?
Fansly treats everyone as a potential viewer of adult content. Whether you plan to create or follow, the platform routes you through Ondato's KYC flow (government ID + liveness selfie) so it can prove every user is 18+ in jurisdictions that require it.
What exactly do creators need to submit?
Creators upload the front/back of a government ID, record a short video holding the ID next to a handwritten "For Fansly - <today's date>" sign, complete tax forms (W-9/W-8BEN or local VAT), and register any collaborators who appear on camera.
What about fans-do we really need ID too?
In the U.S. states currently enforcing age laws (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas) plus several EU/UK regions, fans must pass the selfie check before paid posts unlock. Travellers hitting those states will see the prompt again.
How long does approval take?
Ondato clears most submissions within a few hours. Busy surges can stretch to 48 hours; you'll receive email updates and can refresh status in Settings - Privacy & Safety.
My documents were rejected-what do I do?
Reshoot the ID in bright, even light, remove cases or covers, and capture all four corners. If the liveness selfie fails, switch devices or browsers. Persistent issues belong in a Fansly support ticket with the rejection ID attached.

Monetisation & payouts​

Which payout rails does Fansly support?
Stripe card processing, PayPal, direct bank transfers, and crypto payouts (USDT, BTC, ETH) through partner gateways. Standard withdrawals process weekly; express payouts cost extra.
Do collaborators have to verify separately?
Yes. Anyone who appears in your content submits their own Ondato package and signs a consent form. Add them under Settings - Collaborators before uploading joint scenes.
Can I run PPV without subscriptions?
Fansly lets you operate free profiles while paywalling individual posts, DM clips, tip goals, and live tickets. Bundles and storefront packs give you additional à-la-carte options.

Security & privacy​

Who stores my ID once it's uploaded?
Fansly outsources verification to Ondato. They encrypt the media for liveness analysis, and Fansly says it doesn't resell the data. For peace of mind, delete local copies once you receive the "Age verified" badge.
How do I keep the account safe after verification?
Enable two-factor authentication (authenticator app or hardware key), prune Active Sessions under Settings - Security, and audit connected apps regularly.
Why does the site keep logging me out with "Age check required" after I verify?
Log out, clear cookies, and sign back in. If the banner persists, reopen the Ondato flow from Settings - Privacy & Safety and resubmit the selfie. Attach timestamps and screenshots when contacting support so staff can re-sync your status.

Access & troubleshooting​

Fansly won't load on my work or managed Wi-Fi-any fixes?
Corporate and institutional networks often block adult domains. Use trusted VPN endpoints, or tether through mobile data until you're back on a private connection.
Can a VPN help me avoid the verification altogether?
No. VPNs are great for travel or ISP filters after you comply, but skipping the official KYC violates Fansly's terms and may break state law. Finish Ondato first, then follow How to Access Fansly for routing tips.
How do I contact Fansly for a stuck review?
