Obfuscated Servers
VPN servers that disguise Stripchat traffic as regular HTTPS.
Definition
Obfuscated servers apply extra scrambling to VPN packets - padding, protocol shapeshifting, or routing through TLS tunnels - so firewalls cannot detect that you are using a VPN. Providers like NordVPN, Surfshark, and ExpressVPN deploy obfuscation for regions with deep packet inspection (DPI).
Why it matters
- Bypass VPN bans: Some ISPs block known VPN signatures. Obfuscation makes Stripchat traffic look like standard HTTPS.
- Safer in restrictive countries: Prevents authorities from flagging you simply for using a VPN.
- Restores speed: When regular servers are throttled, obfuscated routes often remain untouched.
How to use
- In the VPN app, enable "obfuscated," "stealth," or "camouflage" mode.
- Expect a small performance hit due to extra processing - pick the closest obfuscated location for Stripchat.
- Combine with TCP-based protocols (OpenVPN TCP, TLS tunnels) if UDP gets blocked entirely.
