CleanWeb is Surfshark's always-on filtering suite that blocks ads, malicious domains, phishing links, and trackers at the VPN DNS level. It works across devices once the VPN connection is active - no browser extension required.

Why it matters​

  • Safer mirror hunting: Dirty mirror sites and fake token generators get blocked before loading.
  • Quieter UI: Removes intrusive ads that distract during troubleshooting.
  • Less tracking: Prevents ad networks from correlating Stripchat activity with your other browsing.

How to enable​

  1. In Surfshark's app, toggle CleanWeb (sometimes labeled CleanWeb 2.0).
  2. Reconnect the VPN so the DNS filter applies to your current session.
  3. Pair with browsers' built-in tracking protection for layered security.
