Lightweight add-ons that extend browsers with Stripchat access features.

Definition​

Browser extensions are small software modules that add functionality to Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or other browsers. VPN providers ship extensions to inject proxies, quick-connect buttons, tracker blockers, and shortcut panels directly into the browsing experience.

Why it matters​

  • Fast testing: Extensions let you toggle a VPN server or Smart DNS without leaving the tab where Stripchat is open.
  • Scoped protection: Only browser traffic runs through the extension, leaving other desktop apps untouched.
  • Feature access: Providers expose tools like CleanWeb, Threat Protection Lite, or Alternative ID in the extension UI.

Tips​

  1. Install extensions only from official browser stores and verify the publisher matches the VPN vendor.
  2. Keep the desktop VPN app installed for full-device protection - extensions alone don't help native streaming apps.
  3. Disable unneeded extensions to reduce attack surface; dormant add-ons can still read Stripchat cookies.
